Tropical Storm Alex areas of Concern in Mexico

Tropical Storm Alex areas of concern in Mexico

Although Alex is expected to move across land quite south of Mexicos popular tourist destinations Cancun, Playa del Carmen and The Riviera Maya those areas as well as areas as far northeast as Cuba, Grand Cayman and even Merida and Campeche can expect periods of Rain, Thunderstorms, wind and dangerous lightning over the next 4 days.

We also can’t forget Invest 94L hanging in there but of no concern to us here in Mexico, the other tropical depression out to the east has since disappeared and thus our only current concerns are Tropical Storm Alex.

Tropical Storm Alex has the potential to become a Hurricane after crossing the Peninsula and emerging into the Gulf of Mexico where conditions are currenty VERY FAVORABLE for development and strengthening.

Our Weather Pages will keep you updated and here in the news section you will find important bulletins and information as well.  For Tropical Storm Discussions we suggest that you visit the Cancun Travel Forums or the Riviera Maya Forums where Scubakevin normally is quite active during these kinds of events and brings lots of information to readers.
