Cancun and Riviera Maya June 12, 2010
While yesterday Cancun and The Riviera Maya enjoyed sunny and hot weather for the most part and very humid to say the least, today we are under mostly cloudy to cloudy skies, rain off and on and a potential for Severe Storms in the area.

Tropical Wave #5 has moved into the area and will continue to affect the area weather over the next couple of days.
For Saturday June 12, 2010 we can expect cloudy skies, hot and humid, thunderstorms off and on with rain heavy at times and winds gusting to 25 mph. Sunday we expect more of the same, mostly cloudy skies with periods of rain and thunderstorms heavy at times as Tropical Wave #5 moves north along the coast toward the west in the next couple of days, conditions are not favorable for any development into a tropical event and we should see improvement in the next 24 to 36 hours.
