Cancun and Riviera Maya Weather for Saturday July 17, 2010 including Puerto Morelos, Playa Del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras, Tulum and the Islands of Cozumel and Isla Mujeres.

As promised today has started out as a mostly cloudy day, warm, humid and windy. The low pressure trough that we were talking about that was going to affect the southeast of Mexico this weekend seems to have arrived bringing cloud cover and some areas of isolated showers this morning. Currently it is raining lightly in the North of Playa Del Carmen near Mayakoba. Our Local Weather Radar is showing showers off the coast of Cancun and the Riviera Maya and some showers inland between Playa Del Carmen and Yucatan (in the jungle). The current heaviest showers within 200 miles of our area is east, northeast and southeast of Cozumel stretching from 150 to 200 kilometers from the Island. The heaviest on land showers are around the Cancun Airport at this time but is NOT sustained Rain Activity.
